The Corrections department maintains a staff of approximately 210 employees and manages an average daily inmate population of approximately 800 inmates. The Division is organized under the Office of the Chief of Police with four sub-divisions: Custody, Population, Detention Services, and Records. This division provides detention services for City misdemeanants, United States Marshal Service inmates, Immigration and Naturalization Service inmates, Federal Bureau of Prisons inmates, Clark County inmates, and inmates from other jurisdictions.

Salary: $54,684 to $81,123 (effective July 2008)
